The year 2019 proved to be highly successful for the International Association of Advanced Materials. Just like every year, the organization made new advances in terms of its members and network all around the world. The association accomplished all the goals that it had laid out for the year and achieved even more. In the calendar year 2019, IAAM organized as many as seven international conferences all over the world. This year, the association expanded its horizons in terms of location and organized a conference in the United States of America for the very first time. By organizing these seven conferences all around the world, IAAM touched newer heights in its mission to create a global forum for discussion and engagement in the world of materials science and technology. The conferences created the perfect setting for delegates from all over the world to come together and indulge in discussions over the recent advancements materials science.
IAAM achieved a milestone when it organized the silver jubilee of its flagship event, Advanced Materials Congress. The conference was organized during 24-27 March 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden. The silver jubilee assembly of IAAM Congress was offered coordination of three contemporary research fields – i) Advanced Functional Materials, ii) Spectroscopy, and iii) Electrochemistry. The goal was to bring together scientific communities, professional researchers, innovative academic and industrial professionals to a common forum for a global cooperation platform.
IAAM organized the fourth edition of the Baltic Conference Series during 14-16 May 2019 . The theme of the conference, “A substantial move towards the commercialization of Translational research to market” was part of an attempt to provide an opportunity to highlight the advances in the translation of research into the industries. This highly interdisciplinary event offered a coordination of seven contemporary research fields- Water Technology, Carbon Materials & Technology, Epoxy & Resins Technology, Plastics & Rubber Technology, Pulp & Paper Technology, Wood Technology, and Chemical Technology.
The 26th assembly of Advanced Materials Congress was hosted by the International Association of Advanced Materials in the city of Nobel: Stockholm, Sweden, from 10 to 13 June 2019. This assembly of AMC was a great amalgamation of three contemporary research fields of advanced materials science and technology- Composite Materials, Graphene and 2D Materials, and Biosensors and Bioelectronics. The theme of the conference was set as “The multi-inter-trans-disciplinary research, innovations, and technology” to highlight the recent progress made in the translation of research into industries. This assembly was a recipient to as many as 349 abstracts.
International Association of Advanced Materials hosted the 27th assembly of Advanced Materials Congress (AMC) during 11-14 August 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden. This assembly gave the upcoming and budding researchers a prestigious platform to get in touch with esteemed scientific elites. The representatives of esteemed companies also got a chance to take a toll of their competitors. The conference produced a chance for the companies to share their ideas on a global platform and gain valuable benefits. The assembly was a coordinated amalgamation of three important research fields: Advanced Materials, Analytical Methods & Spectroscopy, and Archaeology & Cultural Heritage.
The October 2019 edition of the Advanced Materials Congress was organized by IAAM during 09-11 October 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden. The main objective of this assembly was to form a highly interactive global and collaborative network that could facilitate the advancement of materials science to the next level. The research fields that this congress was focused on were: Advanced Nanomaterials, Graphene, and Energy Materials and Technology. The October 2019 edition of AMC had received abstracts from 36 countries and ran with 3 joint complimentary events with as many as 11 thematic sessions.
The Asian Advanced Materials Congress was the 30th assembly of AMC and was organized in Singapore. The congress explored the possibilities of supporting comprehensive discussion and association among participants to develop and expand the knowledge of Advanced Materials in the Asian continent. The assembly coordinated six contemporary fields: Advanced Materials, Sensors & Actuators, Catalysis Science, Engineering & Technology, Energy Storage Technology, Metallic Alloys and Composites, and High Entropy Alloy in Defence System. The assembly was attended by hundreds of delegates from 40 countries all around the world.
With the American Advanced Materials Congress, IAAM marked its presence in the American continent for the very first time. This 31st assembly of the Advanced Materials Congress was organized in Orlando, USA during 08-13 December 2019. The congress was attended by some of the world’s renowned polymaths, researchers, academicians, scientists, and other IAAM members. It explored a number of research areas such as Advanced Materials, Quantum Science and Technology, Drug Delivery and Tissue Engineering, and Membrane Science, Engineering, and technology. The assembly was attended by delegates from as many as 36 countries of the world.
