Who can be an IAAM Member

The membership of the International Association of Advanced Materials is open to all members of academia and industry. IAAM classifies its membership for researchers and organizations into the following categories:
Student Member of IAAM (SIAAM)
Member of IAAM (MIAAM)
Advanced Materials Charter (CAM)
Associate Member (AMIAAM)
Associate Fellow Member of IAAM (FIAAM (Ass/Jr.))
Fellow Member of IAAM (FIAAM)

Any researcher who is affiliated to a university, institute, and even those who conduct independent research, are eligible for IAAM membership. Moreover, corporate houses and organizations that are involved in extensive research can also become IAAM members and take advantage of all the beneficial opportunities and facilities that IAAM provides to its members.

Student Member of IAAM (SIAAM)

Choose this membership if you are a student pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree in a suitable area of science.

Advanced Materials Charter (CAM)

This type of membership is offered to organizations that are working directly or indirectly in the materials community and making a positive impact on the growth of this interdisciplinary field. Any business organization, government department and ministries, colleges, universities, non-profit, charitable organizations, etc. can be an Organizational Member of IAAM.

Associate Member of IAAM (AMIAAM)

You are eligible to be an AMIAAM if

Associate Fellow Member of IAAM (FIAAM (Ass/Jr.))

You are eligible to be nominated for the title of FIAAM (Ass/Jr.) if

You hold an experience of more than twelve years of working in a crucial or important role in the materials community. Even if you are a researcher working in an individual capacity, you are eligible to be nominated for this title, provided that you satisfy all the other requirements.

Fellow of IAAM (FIAAM)

You are eligible to be admitted as a Fellow of IAAM if

You have an experience of working in a senior capacity in the sector or materials for more than fifteen years and your efforts have made a significant contribution to the advancement of materials to global excellence. You are also eligible to be admitted as an FIAAM if you are individual researcher, provided that you fulfill all the eligibility requirements.
