Professor Cristiana Di Valentin received her Ph.D. degree in 2000 in collaboration with the Technische Universität München. She was appointed by the University of Milano-Bicocca as Assistant Professor in 2002, as Associate Professor in 2012, and as Full Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry in 2018. Her research activity is focused on bidimensional materials and metal oxide nanoparticles for energy, environment, and biomedicine.
Xiao-Yu Yang earned his B.S. degree from Jilin University in 2000 and his joint Ph. D. degree from Jilin University, China and FUNDP, Belgium(co-education) in 2007. He is currently working as full professor at State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Material Synthesis and Processing and visiting professor at Harvard University. His research is aimed at self-assembly technology, hierarchical materials, catalysis, and cell-surface-engineering.
